Services Provided
Insight Paralegal LLC provides freelance paralegal and legal support services exclusively to licensed attorneys and law firms. All services are administrative and supportive in nature and are performed under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney, in compliance with Illinois law and ethical rules.
Attorney-Only Engagements
Services are offered only to:
- Licensed attorneys
- Law firms
- Legal professionals authorized to supervise paralegals under Illinois law
We do not provide services to self-represented individuals (pro se clients).
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this website or engagement of services does not create an attorney-client relationship between Insight Paralegal LLC and any end client. Any attorney-client relationship exists solely between the supervising attorney and their client.
No Legal Advice
Insight Paralegal LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. All substantive legal decisions, advice, and strategy remain the responsibility of the supervising attorney.
Compliance With Illinois Law
All services are provided in accordance with:
- Illinois Supreme Court Rules
- Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct
- Illinois law governing the unauthorized practice of law
The supervising attorney remains responsible for compliance with all ethical and professional obligations.
Supervising Attorney Responsibilities
The supervising attorney agrees to:
- Provide appropriate supervision and direction
- Review and approve all work product
- Maintain responsibility for legal advice, filings, and representation
- Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
Scope of Services
Services will be limited to those agreed upon in writing. Any work outside the agreed scope requires prior approval and may incur additional fees.
Fees and Payment
Fees may be hourly, flat-fee, or project-based and will be agreed upon before work begins. Payment terms, retainers, and billing practices will be outlined in a written agreement or invoice.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.
Confidentiality
All information received is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with professional standards applicable to paralegals. Confidential information may be disclosed only as required by law or with authorization from the supervising attorney.
Work Product and Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, work product created for the supervising attorney becomes the property of that attorney or law firm. Insight Paralegal LLC retains ownership of any pre-existing templates, systems, or proprietary materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Insight Paralegal LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or services.
Indemnification
The supervising attorney agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Insight Paralegal LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Misuse of work product
- Lack of attorney supervision
- Ethical or professional violations by the attorney or law firm
Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time. Fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain due and payable.

This website may reference or link to third-party tools or services. Insight Paralegal LLC is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located within Illinois.
